I was hoping to rock the house tonight at the Westport Funny Bone tonight. I had a prime spot going up seventh and even asked Matt to watch since I was hoping to show what I have learned on the road. Sadly, my set didn't get the perfect 10 I was hoping. I'd love to blame it on the German judge giving me a low score. I shouldn't complain about having a good set (I would guess I scored about a 7.8) but I was shooting for the moon. Anyway, last night was hopefully the last time I do that exact set for an open mic for a while. I've got a new joke I want to work on, and it needs to go with my relationship stuff. It's really fun having new stuff to play around with.
