Tonight was the first time I was on stage in over a week, which is probably the longest I've gone without performing (comedy) in maybe a year or more. I've been working on new setups for my motorcycle and scorpion jokes; they seemed to similar to me, which kind of felt like lazy writing. Also, I debuted a joke (which I RARELY do at the Funnybone) about my working at the costume shop. I had to check my cheat sheet because I honestly forgot it was next in my set. After one of the punchlines, a lady groaned or expressed disgust, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why (on stage). I figured it out later while waiting to sing karaoke, she probably didn't like that my hypothetical date got killed by a dragon. Serisouly? Either way, I had fun and teh show overall was really good. Later, I had adventures which I can only disclose in my MySpace blog. Now you have to read it...
