generic title #117
Last night, I had 12 people come see me at the Forum. The crowd was kind of harsh, but the majority of the comics I saw last night weren't very high energy. I haven't seen that many guys die since WWII. That's not intened to sound insulting; high vs. low energy is really a matter or style, or taste. However, sometimes more is better. There was also a ton of comics last night, I think I went up 17th around or after 10:00pm and there were probably 8 more after me. My set went pretty well, I mean I brought a lot of energy to the stage (I feel). I definately used new intonations and emphasis on some of my jokes; I also did a couple new jokes, like my ceiling fan joke, my female roommate joke, my telethon and royalty jokes and a couple others. I also did the skiing jokes, work jokes and my assorted dumped/fat jokes. I got it on tape, but don't know how much time I did. I did have to check my cheat sheet a couple of times, but only to make sure I included my newer jokes (the ones listed above). Tonight is John Garrison's show at Louie's in the Holiday Inn in St. Peters, MO.
