I was mistaken yesterday, the list at the Funny Bone was not current. Matt Behrens didn't make a list last week. Which is fine with me, because he put me on second. I was very unprepared, because I was not expecting to go on, so I had about 15 minutes to look through my "Little Book O' Funny" and find the jokes I wanted to do. I'm not at the point yet where I have all of my material memorized. I have a couple 'bit's memorized, like the "class of two" set I do. You can look at that here. A friend of mine said that "all stage time is good stage time". And that you're always better when you get off stage that when you get on. I comlpetely agree. Even when I have horrible nights I usually pick up some little tidbit of information that helps out in the long run. For example: don't get drunk until after you get on stage. Yeah, who'd have thought? If you're reading this and in the St. Louis area, you should check out the Funny Bone some Tuesday night, at the end of the show they give away tickets to a professional show for the following Monday. That's 2 shows for the cost of 5 bucks and some drinks.
